The leaves are wet beneath my feet.

The soil is moist.

The air is filled with the smell of oak, wood, pine and a hint of Jasmine from a passer by.

I hear birds chirping and leaves rustling from squirrels and  chipmunks scurrying about.

The sound of cars from the distant highway bridge and a flowing river by my side for this walk in solitude is just what the doctor ordered.

Breathing in and out releasing that which is weighing me down. Oh my soul how joyous it feels.
