Slow Saturday ❤️🙏

A slow Saturday,

sipping coffee like a quiet prayer,

letting the morning take its time

with me.

I walk the yard where flowers

hold their colors like soft promises,

and my four-legged friends

pad beside me—

steady, simple, sure.

I breathe—

so the soul can settle,

so the mind can slow,

so the day can open

without being rushed.

Air fills my chest,

wind brushes my face,

and my body remembers

it was made to move—

not to hurry.

Bird calls stitch the silence,

and far off, cars whisper

from another world,

another pace.

A cool breeze finds me again,

and I let it—

I let it soften the edges,

I let it clear the noise,

I let it say:

stay here.
