Thanksgiving a time to pause, gather with loved ones, acknowledge life's gifts, give thanks, share words of love and encouragement.

A tough time of year for many. Some do not have others to gather with. Many are at odds with their family, community and themselves. Many are struggling.

Wanted to share a prayer and love to all on this Thanksgiving week ahead

Lord, we ask that you help us to make sure everyone belongs in our thoughts in our words and in our actions, we were all made in the image of you.

You love us as we are your creation. May we always remember you are in all of us. Teach us to accept and include everyone we meet, appreciate any differences; welcome all. No matter what they look like, where they come from or where they have been. We ask this through your Son, Jesus, our friend and teacher who loves us all.

Please help us to forgive those who may have unintentionally hurt us in their own woundedness and help others whom we may have wounded to forgive us. Provide us the discernment to know whom has good intentions for us but may have lost their way. Keep us grounded in the here and now, safe from harm, and guard our mental health so that we may live an abundant life, with understanding for our fellow human beings; always showing love and kindness.

Thessalonians 5:16

"Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is Gods will for you in Christ Jesus"
