My name is Tracey Stankus attended the festival of faith in writing conference in April of 2024 at Calvin University in Grand Rapids Michigan. What an inspiration to meet so many writers, readers, and clergy of faith in one place. Warm, friendly. humble, folks made me feel welcomed into the community from the get-go!

Had been able to meet my Memoir Masterclass Teacher (Leslie Leyland Fields) and Authur of many books. The most recent being Nearing a far god praying the psalms with our whole selves.

Can I just tell you needed that book. Am learning to heal through writing, nature and so much more. Having joined the masterclass and being around writers and people of faith has been a game changer for me.

I am a registered nurse for over 25 years. Have worked hospitals, management, nursing homes, group homes, medically complex homes, mental health, addiction, ADD, ADHD as well as insurance and have gone through many trials and tribulations in my personal life. By far the most healing thing have found has been writing in faith staying in prayer and getting back to nature.
